Oakland County Michigan Works!: Manufacturing Day

Pontiac, MI
10.01.21 - 10.02.21
Virtual Event
Oakland County is again hosting a virtual Manufacturing Day event for high school students and teachers across the region. Please join us on Friday, Oct. 1, 2021, to obtain an inside look at advanced manufacturing. Groups of students will be assigned to an online tour and interactive discussion with one of ten participating Oakland County manufacturers. Last year, more than 900 people participated in Manufacturing Day, exceeding our expectations and reminding us that interest in manufacturing is as strong as ever. This is a great introduction to manufacturing jobs, educational requirements, entry-level opportunities, and what it takes to succeed – directly from professionals in the field, including seasoned veterans and younger employees who are learning from them.

How To Join This Event

This event is open to high school students attending Oakland County schools.
