Since 2000, the Alabama Manufacturer of the Year Awards program has grown into a prestigious annual celebration attended by Alabama dignitaries and manufacturing leaders.
These annual awards recognize the state's top manufacturers for their accomplishments. By applying for the award, manufacturers convey their story of financial growth, manufacturing leadership, market leadership, leadership development, and workforce enhancement. Awards are presented in three categories based on the number of employees: Small Category - 99 or less; Medium - 100 to 399; Large Category - 400 or greater. In addition, The Emerging Manufacturer of the Year Award may be presented to one company that has been in operation for five or fewer years and has demonstrated superior performance.
