Savvy Teaching Strategies, Manufacturing Day Initiative Can Play Key Roles
Teachers, professors and other academic leaders often emphasize that among the greatest challenges in education and training is getting students engaged. This theory holds true regardless of the age of students, the school they attend or the subject they study.
ROCKFORD, Ill., September 24, 2015 – The roster of Manufacturing DaySM 2015 sponsors recently grew to include Deloitte as a gold sponsor working in collaboration with the Manufacturing Day co-producers to measure the impact of Manufacturing Day on the public’s perception of manufacturing.

3, 2015 – Fueled by record setting participation last year, a wealth of
activities are in the works for Manufacturing Day 2015, scheduled for October 2,
the fourth annual industry grassroots event that’s celebrated across North America. As of June 1, more than 160 events are already
planned and listed on the official national events registry found on www.mfgday.com. Some 100 organizations, publications and

by three as the following organizations pledged their support to this national
movement. The Precision Metalforming Association (PMA) and the Precision
Machined Products Association (PMPA) both renewed their Silver sponsorships for
a third consecutive year and Women in Manufacturing (WiM) renewed its Bronze
sponsorship for a third year.
Nearly 20 cities across America will offer a public screening of American Made Movie as part of their celebration of Manufacturing Day 2014. These screenings have been arranged by manufacturers, chambers of commerce, community colleges and MEP centers in the various cities.
