Yushin America opened its doors on October 6, 2017 to showcase its manufacturing processes and facility to the public. We had students from local schools, colleges, local organizations and families to participate at the event. The tour started with a small presentation by Chris Parrillo (National Sales Manager) who managed to explain the benefits of manufacturing day and how it affects the population today. Tours around the facility were then carried out by our knowledgeable and professional Yushin staff - Dino Caparco (Engineering Operations manager), Tyler Gray (Sales Application Engineer) and Mike Greenhalgh (Director of Operations). Our team thoroughly enjoyed educating and showing our guests around the different manufacturing departments located around the facility.

Our guests had the opportunity to learn all the manufacturing process of building a Yushin robot from machine shop to welding, from initial CAD design stages to building End-of-Arm tooling, from building a robot and to the shipping phase. We informed our guests about the different jobs that any manufacturing facility offers and how manufacturing today continues to increase with multiple career opportunities.

The event has been well executed and received. Yushin was happy to accommodate questions from our guests. We will continue to deliver as much information and knowledge to the public in an event such as manufacturing day. This has been our 5th year and we will host another manufacturing day event in our facility next year. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us at (401) 490-5904.
