John Grossheim Memorial (OPC) Scholarship of Nuts, Bolts & Thingamajigs, the Foundation of FMA

Nuts, Bolts & Thingamajigs

An endowment created by the Outside Processor's Council of the Fabricators & Manufacturers Association and named in honor of one of the scholarship endowment's founders provides several scholarships each year to students studying at 4-year universities and technical colleges to prepare for careers in the steel industry.

  • metallurgy, manufacturing, mechanical engineering
School Types:
  • Community or technical college
  • 4 year college or university
Applicant's Educational Status:
  • High school student
  • Returning post-secondary student
Applicant's Citizenship Status:
  • U.S. Citizen
  • U.S. Permanent Resident
Other Requirements:
  • Preference will be given to applications from students who have a parent that works for one of the member companies of the OPC of FMA
