Nearly 500 York County high school Juniors and Seniors spent the day at a host manufacturer for plant tours, lunch with employees, hands on opportunities, and meeting and hearing from employees and executives about real life application of math and science, and the career path opportunities available in manufacturing.
Manufacturers, students and teachers all reported that the event was a success. We thank our participating manufacturers for graciously hosting our students this year, and for working to create such a fantastic experience: American Hydro, Coupling Corporation, Harley Davidson, Herculite, Martin’s Potato Chips, New Concept Technology, RH Sheppard, Snyder’s-Lance, Starbucks, York Roasting Plant, SWF Industries, Tekgard, UTZ Quality Foods and Weldon Solutions.
