After rescheduling, due to Hurricane Matthew, JCC Outdoor Products hosted close to 300 people during its Manufacturing Day Open House on November 4th. 12 schools from all over Southeastern North Carolina took part in the event. In addition, Cape Fear Community College had a booth at the event to promote their manufacturing programs to prospective students. The highlight of the event was former FMA Chairman of the Board, Dave Barber (President of JCC Outdoor Products), presenting Cape Fear Community College with a $5000 check towards scholarships for their students. The 5 recipients of the scholarships were on hand as part of the event. This was the third time that JCC Outdoor Products hosted a Manufacturing Day Event, with each event growing in size. We look forward to next year's event!
