We invite you to attend Manufacturing & Career Day, an annual celebration of modern manufacturing here at Seward County Community College’s Industrial Technology Campus to showcase the rewarding, highly skilled jobs for students available in manufacturing. Students of all ages, in high school/alternative are welcome to engage and participate in our hands on simulations, industry presentations, on-the-spot industry interviews, and get to tour all 12 programs we offer. Manufacturers across the nation, like many programs we offer, will be participating in Manufacturing Day as sponsors, hosting open houses, public tours, career workshops and other events.

Seward County Community College is a two-year institution offering 39 programs of study, ranks in the top 5% of more than 1,100 accredited community colleges, serves a student body of 2,500 students, and serves the rural five-state region.

At our Industrial Technology Campus, students learn through hands-on curriculum and industry standard training. Manufacturing & Career Day will draw greater attention to the outstanding opportunities that a career in manufacturing can provide and promote the pursuit of skills that will lead to a long-term career that offers security and growth for qualified candidates.

***Students will have opportunities to actively participate in virtual simulations and live demonstrations such as 3D printing, Drafting, CNC Machining, Abrasive Water Jet, TIG welding, Automotive electronics, Diesel Technology, Natural Gas Production and more.
