Students from Jessamine County Career & Technical Center will be touring the Clark Tool Inc. facility in Nicholasville, Kentucky as part of a Manufacturing Month project. Following the tour, Clark Tool Inc. employees will conduct an industry briefing and participate in a Q&A session. The project also entails students completing pre- and post-tour interviews to discover their understanding of manufacturing careers. It culminates with the production of a video to promote the image of modern manufacturing and introduce potential career opportunities for the students. The project is made possible by JAG (Jobs for America's Graduates), Adecco's YES! (Youth Employment Solutions) Program, and MakerMinded (powered by LIFT).

About Clark Machine Tool & Die
Clark Machine Tool & Die, Inc., a manufacturer of special machines, tools, dies and fixtures, opened for business in 1967 and became incorporated as of September 1974. With over forty years in business, the Corporation has maintained employment with extremely low turnover rate an average of 25 employees working in a job shop environment, primarily consisting of a tool shop, a CNC machine shop, a waterjet machine shop area, and an EDM wirecut room.
