In celebration of Manufacturing Day 2016, New Century Careers (NCC) will open its doors on Wednesday, October 5 to show students, educators, parents and community members the outstanding opportunities in advanced manufacturing!

New Century Careers will host the event in collaboration with the Southwestern Pennsylvania Manufacturing Industry Partnership (SWPA-MIP), featuring programs such as MANUFACTURING 2000 (M2K), Southwestern Pennsylvania (SWPA) BotsIQ, and the National Tooling and Machining Association Apprenticeship Program.

Two sessions (10AM-2PM and 5PM-8PM) will be available at NCC’s Training Innovation Center, located in Pittsburgh’s South Side. If your party is interested in attending both sessions, please contact Katie Delverne at delverne@ncsquared.com.

Activities include interactive tours with demonstrations showing visitors pathways to successful manufacturing careers and the educational programs and training that New Century Careers provides.

Please note, there is limited street parking available. Paid parking is available at Station Square.

About New Century Careers

New Century Careers was established as a non-profit organization in 1999. Since then New Century Careers has strived to grow the skills of the Southwestern Pennsylvania Manufacturing workforce. Our President, Paul Anselmo, leads the New Century Careers team in collaborating with local manufacturers, four local Workforce Investment Boards in nine counties, state agencies such as CareerLink and many supportive organization to shed light on the opportunities that manufacturing provides for the people of our communities. We are a Southwestern Pennsylvania workforce development organization with a dual client mission to support pre-employment and incumbent manufacturing workers as well as their current or future employers to help each set of clients advance economically through continuous workforce education and training.
