High school seniors in the Gordon Cooper Technology Center Pre-Engineering Academy will tour Round House Work Wear in Shawnee. Owner Jim Antosh will lead the tour. Students will see how Round House uses technology to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.
Gordon Cooper Technology Center Precision Machining students will tour Mills Machine in Shawnee. Owner Chuck Mills will talk to students about career opportunities in the manufacturing sector.

About Gordon Cooper Technology Center

Gordon Cooper Technology Center is a public career and technology education center with campuses in Shawnee and Seminole in east central Oklahoma. GCTC is part of the Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education system in Oklahoma. The school is named for Shawnee native Gordon Cooper, an American aeronautical engineer, test pilot, and one of the seven original Mercury astronauts. GCTC provides career training for high school and adult students in the areas of computer technology, trades and industry, and health care.
