FRCC will host an open house at its Advanced Technology Center (ATC) in Longmont. From 12:00-4:00 PM attendees can tour the ATC which houses the precision machining technology program. Instructors will be available to demonstrate the modern machine tools and to meet with prospective students. Future students can register for classes.
At 4:00, Mike Schultz, start of the Edgefactor video "Metal & Flesh" will present his accomplishments turning tragedy into a business designing and manufacturing a prosthetic leg used by athletes. Come hear Mike's compelling story and learn about how passion for making things can result in a promising and lucrative manufacturing career. Parents, future students, and high school counselors are especially invited to attend.
