Richard Cooke is a Grammy winning musician who started a company manufacturing outdoor musical instruments that can be played well by anyone. Called Freenotes Harmony Park, his company products called Freenotes are beautiful instruments that focus on social sustainability for public spaces in an increasingly diverse culture. Embracing the concept of Universal Design Freenotes go a step beyond Accessible Design to create environments that are useable by all people. While they are accessible for people with disabilities, Freenotes also enhance any outdoor setting with music making it useable and appealing to all.

In this Ted Talk, Richard talks about his journeyand how he designs and builds instruments that make everyone a musician.
