Students will get a tour of DC Public Library's maker space, the Fab Lab. Library staff from the Fab Lab will lead the teens in a creative activity using 3-D-printed and laser-cut components.

The Fabrication Lab -- or "Fab Lab" -- is a maker space offered within the Labs at DC Public Library, located at DC Public Library's central library in downtown D.C., the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library. It offers programs for all ages and is open for space and equipment reservations for customers ages 13 and older.
