About Cadet

We began as a family-based business with a simple goal: design, develop, and build the best electric heaters available. Founder Dick Anderson created efficient and affordable heating solutions that would keep our customers and their families warm for years to come. Thanks to our family of passionate and talented employees, Cadet has established a reputation for trusted products and reliable customer service. Our offices and manufacturing facility are still located in Vancouver, Washington, where every Cadet is built. We work and live here, so we think our products ought to come from here as well. A few things have remained constant at Cadet over 57 years: We aim to delight our customers. We value our employees and treat them like family. We respect our partners and community. We follow sustainable practices because it’s the right thing to do. And above all, we create innovative, efficient heating solutions for Cadet customers everywhere. Some things are just worth doing right.
