About Aztec Manufacturing Corporation

Aztec began producing machined forgings and castings for the Ford Heavy Truck Division in 8000 sq. ft. of leased space in the old Ecorse Steel Building on the 4th and Mill Street in September 1983. In September 1988, Aztec moved to the current location in Romulus. After receiving the Ford Motor Company Q-1 rating 1989, Aztec began quoting work for the passenger car division and was awarded Aztecs first passenger car contract for the 1991 Mark VII. Since then, Aztec has continued to expand within the mini-vans, and pick up trucks. Aztec has experienced exceptional growth in the past few years. The facility is located in Romulus, Michigan near three major freeways (I-275, I-94, and US-23) and within 10 minutes of Detroit Metropolitan Airport. The company currently employs over 80 people and sells primarily to Ford Motor Company, Dana, and Toyota.
